This is a great region for people who like lakes. Whitefish Lake is a lake nearby, and Hell Roaring Basin is a perfect spot to stretch your legs a bit.
The Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail is a good hiking trail near Les Mason Campground; if you come at the right
time of year, Stillwater River offers some fine whitewater.
Taking a little trip to nearby Gaines Point is a fine idea, and Whitefish Lake State Park is a great place to take a look at on a lovely day. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you
pleased you came.
While going to this vicinity in Montana it's a glorious idea to go for a camping trip too. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Go for a hike on the Mountain Meadow Trail, and nearby you stumble on the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
