So much entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time. White Sand Creek is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Lake Como Campground, and lots of people from Darby come here. Just can't get enough of Lake Como
Campground. Places like Painted Rocks State Park are magnificent to stop at; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Clear Creek.
Throughout the long summer days highs here at Lake Como Campground get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Como Campground are in the 10's. It is very dried up here at Lake Como Campground generally; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while July is ordinarily the driest month.
