recreation is plentiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so most likely you want to stay a bit.
The good variety of local attractions and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back repeatedly.
The challenging slopes at Showdown account for 30% of the slopes, and they are genuinely good; learners and young ones are in luck too, 70% of the 640 acres of terrain are covered

by green and blue slopes. The 34 slopes that cover the close by ski area Showdown are lots of fun; these slopes get an average of 20 feet of white snow every winter. Showdown has a good 1,400-foot vertical drop, and has 4 ski lifts.
A great 19-mile-from-start-to-finish whitewater sweep on Belt Creek is nearby. This, the Sec 15 to Monarch portion, is a category II-III. This sweep of Belt Creek is a fun sweep for whitewater rafting or kayaking. Always check conditions before you go whitewater rafting or kayaking since whitewater rafting or kayaking is a risky pastime.
