Some of the water close by flows, like Eagle Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Timber Creek. This campground is a gorgeous place to   stop by. Do have a look at Cascade Lake close to Half Moon Campground, it's a gorgeous lake, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Boulder River.
