Not far from Fly in Campground, you'll locate Renshaw Lake which is a lovely lake, and there are fine places to discover along the Patrol Mountain Lookout Trail. many times. This campground is so great. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - South Fork. Hit the slopes at Teton Pass nearby, and don't leave Fly in Campground without first going for a hike along the Elbow Pass Trail. Fly in Campground gets very little rain;
the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Going camping for a couple of days here in Montana is something you should do. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Fly in
Campground, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Fly in Campground night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. You truly have to have a thing about the Lewis Range. If you come at the right time of year, Blackfoot River - North Fork offers some nice whitewater, and everyone loves Honeymoon Basin.
