| | This camp ground is situated in the picturesque Cabinet Mountains. A lot of folks choose Fishtrap Campground during their spree to Thompson Falls State Forest. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. Hiking along the Thompson River Mount Headley Trail is magnificent fun, and why not a little side tour to West Fork Fishtrap Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Daisy Creek Trail, and Thompson Falls State Forest is a fine site to go.

| Campground throughout the summer highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Fishtrap Campground.

Having a good time at Fishtrap Campground is easy. Lolo National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Fishtrap Campground, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Blacktail Trail.
