of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak. As if Eld Island Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. Having a brilliant time in the Lewis Range is uncomplicated. Near Eld Island Campground you find
the Felix Basin Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and there are plenty of people from Kalispell here. This campground is a good site to stop at. On a fine day at Eld Island Campground you can take a hike along the Murray Canyon Trail, and swing by McInernie Creek it's a pleasant
location to take a look at. The Harris Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Eld Island Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bear Creek. Going for a weekend of camping here in Montana is something you have to do.
