| | Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. Bear Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Harris Ridge Trail. At this campground you will always have a glorious time. It's a tremendous idea to have a look at McInernie Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Eld Island Campground, and going for a hike on the Murray Canyon |
Trail is always a great adventure. When you're here at Eld Island Campground it's always fun to pop by Wayfarers State Park, and lots of people from Kalispell come here. In Montana you never run out of outdoors enjoyable things. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place!
| The Lewis Range rocks! You're probably addicted to lakes, Handkerchief Lake is one of those close by, and if you're looking for a great tour, Glacier National Park is relatively near. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Eld Island Campground. Yellow Bay State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and there's great hiking along the Pioneer Ridge Trail. hiking at its best, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork. There's so much to do next to Eld Island Campground; loads of people enjoy coming here to escape. It's very unhealthy to be
inside all the time; you've got to get out of the house every now and then; Eld Island Campground, Montana is a magnificent site for getting out. A fine place for whitewater paddling next to Eld Island Campground is Flathead River - Middle Fork, and don't leave Eld Island Campground
without first going for a hike along the Felix Basin Trail. From a rain point of view Eld Island Campground is a pretty common place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. So many local attractions and such a vast number of things
to do are wonderful reasons to come. Summertime highs at Eld Island Campground generally tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Eld Island Campground during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's.
