| | There are great locations to explore along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail; Three Sisters is clearly visible from East Rosebud Campground. This is such a tremendous campground. Going for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail is always a good adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillwater River. This camp ground is one of the perfect places to camp here in the Absaroka Range.
That right there is plenty of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Go for a hike on the Granite Loop Trail, and soar down the rapids |
of Rosebud Creek - West in a kayak. Yeah, come here to East Rosebud Campground for a fine time. Good hiking is available along the Clay Butte Trail, and paddling on Rosebud Creek - East is so much fun.

| is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. Summer at East Rosebud Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to East Rosebud Campground. There is a fine hiking trail near East Rosebud Campground called the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and don't forget to take a fine little journey to Spread Creek.
