East Rosebud Campground, Absaroka Range, Montana   Montana has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers. East Rosebud Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Absaroka Range. During the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at East Rosebud Campground. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at East Rosebud Campground dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. So many amusing things in close proximity to East Rosebud Campground; campgrounds like these     are tremendous. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. There's tremendous hiking along the Clay Butte Trail, and don't leave East Rosebud Campground without first going for a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park is a fine spot to go to, and good hiking is available along the Granite Loop Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at East Rosebud Campground; most of the rain falls throughout June, and October is the month with the least moisture. As if East Rosebud Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Red Lodge Mountain, and whitewater paddling is fine on Rosebud Creek - West. Any time is a good time at East Rosebud Campground if you like the outdoors. Paddling   on Stillwater River is so much fun, and there are great sites to look at along the Copeland Lake Trail. This campground is so tremendous. At East Rosebud Campground you can distinguish Three Sisters. If spending too much time inside got you down, Don't be troubled; East Rosebud Campground in Montana is a tremendous place to go. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. A tour to Cooney Reservoir State Park rejuvenates the spirit, and going for a hike on the Upper Granite Loop Trail is always a good adventure. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Take a side trip to Spread Creek, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - East.
