  Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Big Belt Mountains. Missouri Headwaters State Park is a good place to go if you're at Cave Bay Campground. It's bad for you to be in a building every day; you need to get out from time to time; Cave Bay Campground is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in Montana.
As long as you love the outdoors you will love Montana. Through the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Cave Bay Campground while night lows are mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's
    with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cave Bay Campground.
Scores of people choose this campground to be close to Helena National Forest. A journey to Helena National Forest rejuvenates the soul, and the summit of Cemetery Hill can be observed from Cave Bay Campground.
Cave Bay Campground gets very little rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February.
Cave Bay Campground is positioned in the Big Belt Mountains. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Big Belt Mountains. The Vigilante National Recreation Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Cave Bay Campground, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Canyon Ferry Lake. Cave Gulch is a delightful place to discover, and some of the water close by flows, like Magpie Creek.

is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is hiking, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Cave Bay Campground called the Hanging Valley National Recreation Trail; a tour to nearby Cave Bay is very relaxing.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Canyon Ferry Dam close to Cave Bay Campground, and you'll probably meet some people from Helena here. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do close to Cave Bay Campground; it's always fun being here.
