Cascade Campground, Absaroka Range, Montana   There's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline people, and going for a hike on the Beauty Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure. The amount of rainfall that falls at Cascade Campground is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. On a great day at Cascade Campground you can take a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail; the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Montana has loads of outdoors activities. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place!   The Absaroka Range is peerless! Places like Cooney Reservoir State Park are good to stop at; Timberline Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot close to Cascade Campground, and Buffalo Bill State Park is a perfect location. Throughout the summer highs here at Cascade Campground get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Cascade Campground. What a place this is for outdoors folks. You're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from Roscoe here, and nearby you stumble on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Such a nice pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. There's more to do right next door to Cascade Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
