This campground is so magnificent. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Wapiti Creek Trail, and Gallatin River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. From Buffalo Horn Campground you acquire a tremendous vista of Burnt Top.
There's some flowing water nearby, Taylor Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay,
    and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gallatin River. A spree to Henrys Lake State Park when you're here at Buffalo Horn Campground is a magnificent idea; during your journey here you'll meet some folks
from Big Sky for sure.
This is a magnificent campground. Take a hike on the Wapiti Ridge Trail, and Gallatin River is a nice whitewater spot close by. At Buffalo Horn Campground through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Buffalo Horn Campground sink into the 10's.
The Skyline Trail offers hiking at its best; since you're here at Buffalo Horn
 
Campground, checking out Pulpit Rock is a must. While you're here at Buffalo Horn Campground you can take a hike along the Cabin Creek Divide Trail; Wilson Draw is another great place to go to nearby.
Buffalo Horn Campground is very popular with residents of Big Sky. There is so much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Buffalo Horn Campground, and if you're trying to locate a good location to go for a camping trip, this is a nice selection.
Some of the things you can do here at Buffalo Horn Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Have a good hiking adventure along the Eldridge Trail, and the slopes of Big Sky are so inviting noone can resist. Not much precipitation falls here at Buffalo Horn Campground; most of the rain falls through May; February meanwhile is the driest month.
