A fine place like Beavertail Hill State Park near Blue Slide Campground is too delightful to leave out, and there are good locations to discover along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT.
Not much precipitation falls here at Blue Slide Campground; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Marshall Mountain, and nearby you discover the Solomon Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail.
