Bighorn Campground really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Near Bighorn Campground you stumble on Williams Gulch which is a great place to check out, and the Hogback Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. All the pleasant local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over.
    Bighorn Campground is right by the Quigg Peak Trail; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail.
Around Bighorn Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October.
Capron Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and Deerlodge National Forest is both perfect and pretty. This campground is so good. Hiking along the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail is pleasant fun, and Rock Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
