Going camping here in Montana is something you have to do. Some of the things you can do here at Big Pine Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.

Clark Fork has a nearby whitewater run; the Fish Creek to Forest Grove section is a great 9-mile-in-length class I-IV run of whitewater. This section of Clark Fork is great for those with a bit of paddling
 
    practice. If by chance you are going paddling, you have to always check the latest conditions. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Hay Creek; hiking along the McCormick Creek Trail is great fun. You clearly must like the
  Bitterroot Range. Ruben Gulch is a perfect site to stop at nearby; there's perfect hiking along the Tepee Ridge Trail. This campground is so good. The Josephine Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Cyr Peak is simple to spot from Big Pine Campground. Don't leave Big Pine Campground without first going for a hike along the State Line Trail. Frenchtown Pond State Park is both great and striking, and it's close to Big Pine Campground, and Big Pine Campground is right by the Granite Ridge Trail.
