You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Lewis Range has to offer. Lots of folks from Lincoln come to Big Nelson Campground, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Flathead River - South Fork. And that's not all you can do here at Big Nelson Campground. Float down the rapids of Blackfoot River - North Fork in a kayak, and you can go for a hike on the Mineral Creek Trail. It's a magnificent idea to pop by McDermott Creek, it's near Big Nelson Campground, and there's magnificent hiking along the Meadow Creek Trail.
Big Nelson Campground is an old favorite with visitors from Lincoln.
