The advanced and expert ski runs account for 30% of the beloved ski runs at Showdown, the ski area every skier enjoys. There's 640 acres of skiing land to enjoy, 70% of which are intermediate or beginner ski runs.   There's a good 14-mile-long grade II-III whitewater run on Belt Creek close by, the Monarch to Riceville segment. If by chance you possess some whitewater rafting or kayaking knowledge, this run of Belt Creek could be a good run for your skill. Whitewater rapids are risky occurrences, so you should check the situation previous to going.
