There's a lot of outdoors recreation available around here such as hiking, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. A splendid spot to stop by close to VFW Campground is Coon Hollow; there are splendid spots to explore along the Wagon Trace. Just can't get enough of       the Ozarks. If you're visiting VFW Campground from Mountain View, you won't be the only one, and Montauk State Park is a striking place any time of year. This campground has so many cool things to offer. Gill Branch is a lovely stream   that is worth visiting. A round of golf at nearby Mountain View Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. Places like Grand Gulf State Park are great to go to; if you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is West Plains Municipal Golf. So much exciting stuff to do here at VFW Campground, too tremendous to be true.
