  Finally, camping time is here again, and West Seelye Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in Minnesota. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at West Seelye Campground. You'll meet a lot of folks from Squaw Lake here, and hiking along the Lost '40' Trail is magnificent fun. This is such a good campground.
As if West Seelye Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. The tremendous variety of local attractions and such a tremendous
    variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back many times.
Minnesota is a great place for outdoors people. You don’t have to go far from West Seelye Campground to make out the water at Amik Lake Dam; why not take a refreshing hike along the Turtle Mound
Trail.
At West Seelye Campground exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and to be here is great fun any time. West Seelye Campground is incredibly well loved by visitors from Squaw Lake.
Schoolcraft State Park is a magnificent spot; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Cutfoot Experimental Forest. This campground is so good. Take a hike on the South Highbanks Trail System, and Chippewa National Forest is a perfect site to explore. Don't forget to pop by West Seelye Bay since you're here at West Seelye Campground, and hiking is a popular thing
 
to do around West Seelye Campground; Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail is a great local trail.
From a rain point of view West Seelye Campground is a relatively common location; most of the rain falls all through June, and the driest month of the year is February. A lake nearby is Dry Creek Lake; the Simpson Creek Trail System offers hiking at its best.
Throughout the warm days of summer at West Seelye Campground temperatures are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at West Seelye Campground temperatures fall to the-10's.
