Star Island Campground, Minnesota Custom Search   I stayed at Star Island Campground and did not enjoy it one bit. The beach became overcrowded with tourists, people who where not camping, and ruined the whole rustic feel of the weekend. There have also been reports of wolves on the island. I won't be going back. It was an uncomfortable stay, the island is populated and it feels weird to be camping next to someone's year-round cabin. The natural splendor at this primitive campground is great, and naturally it can be difficult to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. Star Island Campground is   a very popular old favorite campground among the residents of Cass Lake. Minnesota is a good outdoors state. Star Island Campground is located in a vicinity with lots of enjoyable stuff to do, and it is a good escape from the mundane. As if Star Island Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, hiking, swimming, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. The nice local attractions and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation are great motives       to come. At Star Island Campground you may get a lovelier wilderness experience than you would get at a more civilized campground. Ok, it's been too long since you went outside, time's here for camping, and Star Island Campground   in Minnesota is precisely the location. Lots of people pick Star Island Campground when they come to have a look at Chippewa National Forest. Lake Bemidji State Park is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit; Big Rice Lake is a perfect lake close by.
