| | Summer brings highs in the 70's to North Star Campground. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 10's with temperatures at North Star Campground dipping down into the-20's all through winter nights. Some activities here at North Star Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you want to stick around. North Star Campground gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.

North Star Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among campers from Marcell. Several folks stay at this campground to check out nearby Scenic State Park.
