Ossineke Forest Campground, Michigan Custom Search   stopped off here in june or july '06 on our way to the u.p. but just wanted to say it was beautiful here from the animals, to thunder bay I went and canoed it 'bout midnight to 2 in the morn. with my travel party. the bay itself was fantastic shallow as can be. every one there was friendly. going back in spring of '07 with the rest of my family Says dan Love to camp at Ossineke! Says Jess Allen While you're here at Ossineke     Forest Campground you can take a hike along the Devils Lake Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Ossineke here. Negwegon State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Norway Ridge Trail. This is such a great campground. Ossineke Forest Campground is not the only location close by, Devils Lake is a close by lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Devils River. Places like Harrisville State Park are good to take a look at.
