Little Girls Point Campground, Gogebic Range, Michigan Custom Search   8/22/10:  Spur of the minute trip for myself and my 11yr old daughter.  We arrived campground mid-Thursday with hopes of staying through Saturday and was lucky to score a campsite for tenting.  We were very pleased with the clean and beautiful campground.  Restrooms were clean too (no showers). Rita the camp office manager was very pleasant and suggested many things to look at while up there.  We brought to small kayaks which we used on Montreal River to paddle       upstream from the bridge near the power company.  Checkout the great waterfalls as Montreal makes it to Superior.  We parked in the power company lot and walked the entire length down to the mouth of the river.  We also went to nearby   Black River Water Falls/Ottawa National Forest, great hiking and beautiful waterfalls.  Take the time to see all the falls.  I would go back with my family for sure. Says Mark from MSP This is a primitive camp ground which unsurprisingly means that there are not many facilities. When you go camping at a primitive campground like this one you're in fact camping. It is especially scenic here at this primitive campground, and as expected it may be tough       to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available nearby such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so running out of cool stuff   to do won’t happen. Ready to raise that tent of yours; Little Girls Point Campground, Michigan is a fine place for getting out. Camping in Michigan is such an enjoyable thing to do. Little Girls Point Campground is enormously well prized by visitors from Hurley.
