Balsam Campground, Michigan   Have a great hiking adventure along the Alligator Eye Trail; dropping by Lake Gogebic State Park is a magnificent thing to do. The friendly folks of Land O Lakes like to hang out close by, and a delightful place like Ottawa National Forest is too glorious to leave out.   Balsam Campground is a popular spot with the residents of Land O Lakes. At Balsam Campground through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Balsam Campground. For you golfers we recommend close by Gateway Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ontonagon River.
