South Branch Pond Campground, Maine

  This is such a tremendous campground. Have a great hiking adventure along the Howe. An average amount of rain falls at South Branch Pond Campground; through July this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. There's just no way someone can get bored here at South Branch Pond Campground. The snow is tremendous at Big Squaw; unsurprisingly Snub Brook flows through this vicinity.
There's heaps of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored.
If you
    don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy Stream, and needless to say, A spree to Dry Gorge is always fun. South Branch Pond Campground is positioned in a neighborhood with scores of entertaining stuff to do, and if you're trying to locate
a wonderful place to go camping, this is a magnificent pick. A pretty lake like Upper South Branch Pond in close proximity to South Branch Pond Campground is a delightful spot to visit; going for a hike along the South Branch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
During the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at South Branch Pond Campground. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to South Branch
 
Pond Campground.
In Maine you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff. What would a location like South Branch Pond Campground be without attention-grabbing nearby features like Inscription Rock, and do take a hike on the Wassataquoik Tote Road.

You can run the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream River near South Branch Pond Campground, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Old Pogy Road.
