If you come at the right time of year, Nesowadnehunk Stream River offers some splendid whitewater; hiking is a popular thing to do around Chimney Pond Campground; Cathedral Trail is a splendid local trail. This is truly a tremendous campground. Really great skiing awaits you at Big Squaw. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Saddle Trail, and York Valley is also a magnificent place to explore.
It's completely out of the question to run out
    of cool things to do right next door to Chimney Pond Campground; it really is a good campground. This campground is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you get a sight of Pamola from Chimney Pond Campground, and there's great hiking along the Dudley Trail.

state. Take a hike on the Howe, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy Stream.

Pond Trail is perfect fun, and Table Land is a perfect location to check out while in the vicinity. Chimney Pond Campground gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month.
