Good hiking is available along the Telephone Trail, and don't forget to stop by Spencer Cove since you're here. You can see Black Cat Mountain from Big Moose Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Chimney Pond Trail. A quick trip to Grant Brook right next door to Big Moose Campground is a great idea, and there are other places here than Big Moose Campground, for example Ambajejus Lake.
