  Allen Pond Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Greene. This campground has so unbelievably much. For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Allen Pond Campground. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Allen Pond Campground temperatures fall to the 10's.

Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, time to go camping; Allen Pond Campground in Maine is exactly what you need. A lot of folks camp here in order to be close to Auburn Municipal Beach. If you come to this campground, you will have a nice time for sure. Not far from Allen Pond Campground, you'll stumble on Berry Pond which is a delightful lake, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Greene for sure.
You can run the rapids of Sandy River near Allen Pond Campground, and nearby you hit upon the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a great hiking trail.
