| | It's completely out of the question to run out of enjoyable stuff to do near Allen Pond Campground; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a pleasant place to do that. This is such a wonderful campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Auburn Municipal Beach. Allen Pond Campground is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. |

If you love the outdoors, you'll like Allen Pond Campground. Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Springbrook Golf Club. If you are in Maine through camping season, you have to go camping. There are
| some great whitewater spots on Chandler Brook, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Berry Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. You have to get out of the house, and Allen Pond Campground in Maine is a pleasant place to go. The top of Clark Mountain is easily made out from Allen Pond Campground, and Range Ponds State Park is a glorious place. so wonderful. Everybody loves Bradbury Mountain State Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Nezinscot River. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, fishing, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of
entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. Summertime highs at Allen Pond Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Allen Pond Campground. Several folks camp here for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of Auburn Municipal Beach.
