There are great places to look at along the Big Flat Trail, and if you have the time, Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a national park worth taking a look at. Little Pool Campground is not far at all from Hancock, and splendid hiking is available along the Pittman Trail. At this campground you will always have a glorious time. Cacapon State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Little Pool Campground; do pay a visit to Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail while you're here at Little Pool Campground. Glide down the rapids of Sleepy   Creek in a kayak; you can go for a hike on the Barton Trail. Going for a hike on the Packers Path is always a good adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Sleepy Creek - Meadow Branch offers some splendid whitewater. Maryland has such a great deal of things to offer nature lovers. Little Pool Campground is often visited by the people in Hancock. A tour to Little Pool Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Greenbrier State Park. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Little Pool Campground, and the night is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 60's.
