Iron Mountain Campground, Maryland

  Collier Run is near Iron Mountain Campground and is always a delight to pop by; you can go for a hike on the Dickens Trail. Iron Mountain Campground is an old favorite with folks of Spring Gap.
Camping in Maryland is such a fun thing to do. Moores Hollow is a good site to stop by nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Wills Creek offers some great whitewater. Near Iron Mountain Campground you hit upon the Old Mail Trail which is a great hiking trail; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Jennings Run.

Hey, you've been cooped up too long, it's time to go camping, and Iron Mountain Campground is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in Maryland.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Iron Mountain Campground. Don't leave Iron Mountain Campground without first going for a hike along the Burnt Mills Trail, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete
 
without a tour to close by Cacapon State Park. There are great places to discover along the Gum Spring Trail, and float down the rapids of Evitts Creek in a kayak.
Scores of fun is at this campground. There are plenty of people from Spring Gap here at Iron Mountain Campground, and going for a hike on the Wigfield Trail is always a glorious adventure. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
This campground is a fine place to stop at. Throughout the summer months highs here at Iron Mountain Campground get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Iron Mountain Campground tend to be in the 10's.
