campground is always a joy. Don't leave Chisel Branch Campground without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Potomac River.
Float down the rapids of Goose Creek in a kayak, and you'll perhaps meet some people
from Ashburn here. This is such a lovely campground. There are glorious places to discover along the Potomac Heritage Trail, and do pay a visit to Wolf Trap Farm Park if you're here at Chisel Branch Campground. If you are in Maryland through camping season, you should go camping.
Near Chisel Branch Campground you discover the Paw Paw Passage Trail which is a great hiking trail, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Catoctin Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
Going for a hike on the Meadow Trail is always a great adventure;
getting to Cabin Branch from Chisel Branch Campground is uncomplicated. Chisel Branch Campground is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Chisel Branch Campground is a campground rather frequently visited by the folks of Ashburn.
