The Plains is a pleasant place to check out; not far from Lakeridge Campground you'll come across Woods Ice Pond which is a picturesque lake. Ashuelot River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and a tour to Wendell State Forest invigorates the spirit.
A campground like this is too great to miss. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Lakeridge Campground is Browns Hill, and a day on the slopes of Pine Ridge is just what you need.
Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the cool stuff you can do is playing golf, whitewater
