There's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Link Trail. Cold Spring Campground usually gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and January is when it's the driest. This campground is always a bliss.
