  All the good local attractions close at hand and such a good variety of outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come. Sawyer Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people from Parkers Lake. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. There is a great hiking trail close to Sawyer Campground called the Twin Branch Trail; there are splendid places to explore along the Peter Branch Trail.
And that's not all you can do here at Sawyer Campground. Soar down the rapids of Cumberland River in a kayak; on a magnificent day
    you can take a hike along the Cliffside Trail. This campground is a good place to have a look at. Going for a hike on the Ned Branch Trail is always a splendid adventure; swing by Long Branch it's a good site to explore.
If you are in Kentucky during camping season, you must
go camping. For the duration of the summertime at Sawyer Campground temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sawyer Campground sink into the 20's.
Loads of people camp here in order to be in the vicinity of Cumberland Falls State Park.

There's no way to run out of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Sawyer Campground; spending time at this campground is extremely fun. Sawyer Campground is not far at all from Parkers Lake, and Cold Spring Hollow is another pleasant place to visit close by.
Sawyer Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All year is a magnificent time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. If the weather is pleasant here at Sawyer Campground, you can go for a hike along the Lakeside South Trail, and as expected, everybody loves General Burnside Island State Park. A great deal of precipitation falls at Sawyer Campground; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
