splendid campground. A tour to Pickett State Park revives the soul. So much exciting stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just extraordinary. Going for a hike on the Racoon Loop is always a nice adventure, and a lake close by is Pickett Lake. There's more to do near Great
Meadow Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. Do pay a visit to Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area while you're here at Great Meadow Campground, and hey, Turkey Branch is a pleasant local stream.
