At Great Meadow Campground amusing stuff to do is plentiful, and it's one of those sites where everything is wonderful. Going for a hike along the Ladder Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Cumberland River - Little South Fork is a good whitewater spot
 
close by.
Just can't get enough of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Take a hike on the Deer Loop, and General Burnside Island State Park is worth going to. There's such an incredible array of things to do at Great Meadow Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Great Meadow Campground has to offer. There are plenty of people from Stearns here at Great Meadow Campground; Turkey Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. Great Meadow Campground is located in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All the tremendous local attractions nearby and the close by outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back repeatedly.
This campground is a magnificent place to check out. A trip to Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is worthwhile, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Island Trail.
