Near Gospel Campground you stumble on good locations like Coalpit Hollow; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Salt River. Martins Hill can be spotted from Gospel Campground; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Ohio River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gospel Campground a wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is generally the driest month. Quite a lot of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Gospel Campground; if you're trying to find a great site to go for a weekend of camping, this is a brilliant selection.
