Rainbow Saddle. Don't leave Yellow Pine Campground without first going for a hike along the South Fork Sheep Creek Trail; there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Parks Peak Trail.

Pine Campground is a nice idea, and Payette National Forest is both splendid and lovely. At Yellow Pine Campground exciting stuff to do is plentiful, and campgrounds like these are wonderful.
This place, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Going
for a hike on the Caton Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure; when you're here it's always fun to check out Nez Perce National Forest.
The splendid local attractions and the splendid variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back repeatedly. Outdoors
recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen.
Johnson Creek is a splendid whitewater spot in close proximity to Yellow Pine Campground. An average amount
of rain falls at Yellow Pine Campground; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Yellow Pine Campground is a popular spot with folks from Yellow Pine.
