Fork close to Whitetail Campground, and don't leave without going to Farragut State Park. A number of folks stay at Whitetail Campground to be in close proximity to Farragut State Park. You've got to get out of the house, and Whitetail Campground is a good local campground
if you happen to be in Idaho. Whitetail Campground gets a normal amount of annual rain; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. A great site for whitewater paddling next to Whitetail Campground is Pack River.
This is beyond doubt a pleasant campground. There are wonderful places to discover along the Upper Declaration Trail, and since you're here, do take a visit to Idlewilde Bay. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Here at Whitetail Campground you'll probably meet
some folks from Bayview, and going for a hike on the English Point National Recreation Trail is always a brilliant adventure. There's so much to do near Whitetail Campground, and being here is always fun. Whitetail Campground is to be found in the Bitterroot Range. There is
a tremendous hiking trail near Whitetail Campground called the Green Mountain Trail; a fine site like Round Lake State Park is too great to leave out.
