70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at West Fork Campground dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
West Fork Campground is a popular spot with people of Stanley. All year is a good time in the Salmon River Mountains if you love the outdoors. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling close to West Fork Campground is Salmon River; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Bull Moose Trail.
Going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail
 
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a tour to Challis National Forest revitalizes the spirit. A campground like this is too glorious to miss. You can run the rapids of Salmon River - Yankee Fork right next door to West Fork Campground, and from West Fork Campground you acquire a good panorama of Rookie Point. Sawmill Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here; unsurprisingly, this is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Pinyon Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
Finally, the time is right for camping again, and West Fork Campground in Idaho is the outdoors at its greatest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Salmon River Mountains.
