| | This campground is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Brundage Mountain, and going for a hike on the Broken Leg Trail is always a delightful adventure. Outdoors people generally go for this segment of Idaho. Not much rain falls here at Van Creek Campground; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. Yeah, come up here to the Clearwater Mountains for a splendid time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River, and you can go for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail. There's so many things to do |
at Van Creek Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. There's so much to do near Van Creek Campground; if you're trying to find a brilliant spot to go camping, this is a delightful choice. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you

Forest is a good place to go to. The good variety of local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Spring Bar is next to Van Creek Campground and is a splendid place, and if you come at the right time of year, Slate Creek offers
some tremendous whitewater. Through the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Van Creek Campground. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows at Van Creek Campground all through the wintertime commonly descend into the 20's. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always delightful.
