Upper O'brien Campground is a location that is reasonably waterless typically; December is when     you get the most snow here; the driest month is July. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and a trip to Challis National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. Muley Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and wonderful hiking is available along the Yellow Belly Trail. Anxious to set up that camp site; Upper O'brien Campground in Idaho is such a wonderful place.
