Grouse Creek is a stream that you may come across during your stay, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Shellrock Ridge Trail. At Upper Grouse Campground through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Upper Grouse Campground |
temperatures drop to the-10's. Loon Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close to Upper Grouse Campground, and a spree to Salmon National Forest is a glorious idea. This campground has so much exciting stuff to offer. If the weather is magnificent here at Upper Grouse Campground,
| you can go for a hike along the Cliff Creek Trail, and hiking along the Goat Creek Trail is nice fun. recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Salmon River - Middle Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sun Valley
if you're here. There is so much amusing stuff right next door to Upper Grouse Campground; it certainly is a good campground. Spending too much time indoors got you down, No need to worry; Upper Grouse Campground in Idaho is a good choice. A spree to Upper Grouse Campground
wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Challis National Forest, and going for a hike along the South Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Camas Creek; Tappen Gulch is around here, and is a wonderful location. Around Upper Grouse Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
