is a great campground. Steamboat Lake is a magnificent lake in the neighborhood of Twin Creek Campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Nelson Peak Trail. Twin Creek Campground is a good site of normal rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally January,
that's the one that snows the most; July is the month with the least moisture. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Twin Creek Campground, so little time. A journey to Spokane Meadows revives the spirit, and the Kyle Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. And that's not all you
can do here in the Bitterroot Range. St. Joe National Forest is a brilliant location; there's splendid hiking along the Trego Point Trail. During the months of summer here at Twin Creek Campground, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer
temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Twin Creek Campground. Twin Creek Campground is an old favorite with folks from Avery. So much enjoyable stuff in the Bitterroot Range, just amazing.
Twin Creek Saddle is a delightful site to take a look at close to Twin Creek Campground, and St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. There's so much stuff to do near Twin Creek Campground, and it is a fine campground.
