This is such a fun location for a campground. If you come at the right time of year, Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork
 
offers some delightful whitewater, and locations like Payette National Forest are magnificent to stop at. You'll discover a pretty lake called Rainbow Lake near Twin Bridges Campground, and hiking along the Burnt Log Trail is nice fun. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Johnson Creek, and if you're here you can take a hike along the McClure Trail.
Twin Bridges Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Twin Bridges Campground. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Bridges Campground are in the 0's.
