| | There is so much enjoyable stuff to do close to Summit Lake Campground; it is a fun spot for everyone. This is a magnificent campground. Paddling on Johnson Creek is so much fun; Boise National Forest is both tremendous and scenic. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. No need to travel far to stop at attention-grabbing stuff like Landmark Rock, and going for a hike on the Burnt Log Trail is always a great adventure. You truly ought to go for the Salmon River Mountains. Don't leave Summit Lake Campground without first going for a hike along the |
Switchback Trail; at Summit Lake Campground you can observe Warm Lake Summit.
There is a delightful hiking trail next to Summit Lake Campground called the Trout Creek Trail, and drift down the rapids of Johnson Creek in a kayak.
This campground is so magnificent.
