State Campground Recreation Site, Wallowa Mountains, Idaho

Creek; you can hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain around here. This is such a beautiful campground. A pleasant location like Ponderosa State Park right next door to State Campground Recreation Site is too great to leave out. Drift down the rapids of Little Salmon River in a kayak, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lava Butte Trail.
All the tremendous local attractions close at hand and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at State Campground Recreation Site. If you come at the right time of year, Hard Creek offers some great whitewater, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Broken Leg Trail.
There is so much cool stuff near State Campground Recreation Site, and to be here is great fun any time. It is very waterless here at State Campground Recreation Site ordinarily; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest month of the year is July.
