You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Nut Basin Lake is one of those nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Clearwater Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Spring Bar Campground while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Spring Bar Campground throughout the winter typically sink |
into the 20's. Idaho has such a vast number of things to offer nature lovers. Spring Bar Campground gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. If you want a delightful

Try Spring Creek, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Brundage Mountain.
