Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Smoky Bear Campground through the winter regularly plunge into the-10's. to Smoky Bear Campground you'll meet some folks from Ketchum for sure; Challis National Forest is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. It is very arid here at Smoky Bear Campground generally; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is July. A lot of folks select Smoky Bear Campground when going to Sawtooth National Forest.
