Naturally, whitewater kayaking or rafting is cool but treacherous; check conditions in advance of a trip. Go for a hike on the Meadow Creek National Recreation   Trail, and a magnificent place like Clearwater National Forest is too tremendous to leave out. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Clearwater Mountains. There's good hiking along the Elk Creek Trail; swing by Race Creek it's a splendid place to explore. This campground is so stunning.
