| | Sissons Campground is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Bitterroot Range. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Coeur d'Alene River, and you can go for a hike on the State Line Trail. Gotta ski! Silver Mountain is a tremendous site to do that; a pleasant trip to Kit Price Prairie is a great way to spend an afternoon. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Bitterroot Range. There's whitewater on Coeur d'Alene River for all you adrenaline people, and Devils Elbow is a wonderful location to explore while in the vicinity. spend some time. This campground is so splendid. Take a little spree to Harvey Creek if you're here at Sissons Campground, and nearby you locate the Evolution Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. So much cool stuff in the Bitterroot Range, just tremendous. Whitewater paddling
is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork, and going for a hike on the Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. Some people choose this campground when going to Coeur d'Alene National Forest. So many local attractions and
such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. This is such a splendid campground. When you're here at Sissons Campground it's always fun to stop at Coeur d'Alene National Forest; the Coeur d'Alene Mountains is one of the things that make Sissons
Campground so tremendous. As if Sissons Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. In Idaho you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff. Sissons Campground gets a common amount of
annual precipitation; most of the snow falls all through January; the driest month is July. Good hiking is available along the Holmes Trail; Old Mission State Park is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit.
