Lots of folks opt for this campground to be right next door to Boise National Forest. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Take a side visit to Control Creek, and glorious hiking is available along the East Mountain Way.
If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Payette River - Middle Fork, and a great site like Boise National Forest is too great to leave out. During the summer at Silver Creek Campground highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Silver Creek Campground are in the 10's.
