get enough of the glorious skiing at Tamarack; if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - Middle Fork offers some perfect whitewater. Idaho has scores of outdoors activities. There's more to do close to Silver Creek Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater
paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Deadwood River, and naturally, everyone loves Cascade State Park. There are so many entertaining things right next door to Silver Creek Campground,
and it is a very nice campground. Silver Creek Campground is pretty waterless ordinarily; through December this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Silver Creek Campground.
Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Silver Creek Campground descend into the 10's.
